Ayaka Komatsu (小松 彩夏, Komatsu Ayaka) is a Japanese model/actress. She was born on July 23, 1986 in Ichinoseki, Iwate Prefecture.Her modeling agency is Amuse inc. She was a regular model of the now defunct Candy[1] magazine. She also appeared in the Winter 2002-2003 "Angel Blue" fashion catalog and was on the cover of the manga Young Sunday dated April 7, 2005.
She was a member of the 2004 edition of the Japanese modeling quartet named Nittelligenic, an idol group sponsored by Nippon TV.[2] Each 'generation' lasts for one year and during that year they do a lot of features on NTV in addition to idol DVDs, special pictorials, and other promo gigs. Prior to this, she did a few swimsuit layouts and continues to do them for magazines such as Sabra.
Her first role was in the movie "Odoru Daisousasen The Movie 2" where she was a victim of a vampire. She also did some commercials one for Takara, and was on an Idol Program of the company Idol Michi.
Actually Ayaka continues modeling in "Candy", and in March 25th of 2004 in Japan was launched the "Act. Zero" a Special of "Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon" TV-Series where she reprises her role as Minako Aino and the heroine Sailor V.
She had a recurring role in the summer Fuji TV drama Buzzer Beat, reuniting with her former Sailor Moon cast member Keiko Kitagawa, who had the lead female role as well as with Yamashita Tomohisa as Ayaka made a cameo appearance on his previous drama Kurosagi.
