The ‘2013 SBS Drama Awards’ took place on December 31st at SBS Prism Tower in Seoul, and was hosted by Kim Woo Bin, Lee Hwi Jae, and Lee Bo Young. On the night, Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye were seen mimicking their drama roles in ‘The Heirs’, with a matching ‘Romeo & Juliet’ look. Before announcing the Best Couple winners, Lee Hwi Jae asked the two about the concept of their outfits. Park Shin Hye replied, “This look was actually taken from suggestions by fans, on what image me and Kim Tan should adopt for this Best Couple award. Everyone suggested ‘Romeo & Juliet’, so I prepared in this manner in the end.”
Lee Min Ho also said, “You should have said earlier.” Park Shin Hye then replied, “But I know that no matter what you wear, you will still be good looking like Romeo.” Meanwhile, Gong Hyo Jin (‘The Master’s Sun’), Soo Ae (‘Queen of Ambition’), Song Hye Kyo (‘That Winter, The Wind Blows’), and Kim Tae Hee (‘Jang Ok Jung’) were notable absentees on the night, due to conflicting schedules. Congratulatory performances meanwhile were done by Seo In Guk, Kim Yuri, Kang Sora, and Kim So Hyun.
Shin Hye won three awards the SBS Drama Awards. She went home with the Excellence Award for Actress, Top Ten Actors/Actresses award, and Best Couple Award with her co-star of "The Inheritors," Lee Min Ho. She arrived at the award show dressed in a Medieval era inspired dress and headband looking absolutely beautiful. The concept for tonight was Romeo and Juliet. Our Shin Hye looks like a Medieval princess. So beautiful and elegant.
Park Shin Hye celebrated her successful year with fans at her Christmas party in Japan!Park Shin Hye invited 100 lucky fans to her Christmas party, 'Park Shin Hye's Special Present,' at Shangri-La Hotel in Tokyo, Japan on the 21st.Park Shin Hye reflected on her hit dramas and film as she said, "'Flower Boy Next Door' is an honest production through which I was able to show a lot of my true character.
Park made her big screen debut in the movie Evil Twin, a summer horror flick where she had 2 roles: one as the main character, and the other as the ghost of the main character's sister, who haunts the other sister after her death. Park was extremely happy to act in this movie, because she had always wanted to act in a period setting drama or movie. In January of 2007, Park starred as one of the four main characters in Goong S, a spin off (not the sequel) to the wildly successful Goong. The series did not match the success of its original, and received borderline ratings. However, the drama was the most re-watched and replayed series in the first half of 2007, gaining fame after the first run.
